How Trichogrammas win

Trichogramma wasps are tiny, natural egg parasitoids that target over 200 species of pest moths and butterflies, preventing destructive caterpillars from ever hatching.

Given that they deal with pests specifically without the negative side effects of convencional insecticides, they hold key advantages.

In the EU, including Poland the use of Trichogrammas  qualify for eco-scheme subsidies.

Trichogrammas have NO tight restrictions regarding their use, unlike conventional chemical Insecticides…..

Green Lacewing

Green Lacewings and prolonged protection

Green lacewings are beneficial predators whose larvae devour hundreds of aphids, mites, thrips, and whiteflies, providing broad-spectrum control without chemicals.

This offers a superior flexibility for Polish growers, once released, compared to chemical insecticides.

In the EU, including Poland, green lacewings qualify for eco-scheme subsidies.

Green Lacewings have NO tight restrictions on use, unlike chemical insecticides.

Why Our Solution matters

Bee and a ladybug

Beneficial insects target pests naturally while keeping bees, ladybugs, and other pollinators safe.

Chemical insecticides harm all insects indiscriminately,

Our biological solutions are aligned with nature, given the insects are not an artificial solution. They specifically target pests.

Insect shortcommings, compared to Chemical insecticides

Like all solutions to pest control have tradeoffs, chemical insecticides were used for the longest time, because they offered a quick, cheap and easy solution which worked for a while.

We believe biological pest control such as trichogrammas are a better long term alternative in every way, however they offer a trade off, the aplication of biological pest control is not as immediate and simple as chemical insecticides, They require precision and timing, but once executed correctly they will offer the same benefits as chemical insecticides without the negative trade-offs and without worry off the solution no longer being effective.

Temperature and climate:

Although the species are native to the North-European climate, severe drought's and wind can affect their effectiveness, if not accounted for.

Timing:

Beneficial insects such as Trichogramma and Green lacewings, follow a specific life and predation cycle's . For Example Trichogramma's target pests larvae before they hatch, if they are applied to late the Trichogramma will be inneffective.

Storage:

Insect eggs before release is nececary have to be held at cold storage, otherwise they will emerge early and given the previous point, will be inneffective.
